(In Development) At any time, your characters, items, and some in-game currencies can be transferred from our servers to your digital wallet. Once you hold these assets in your wallet, you can sell them on marketplaces like Magic Eden or trade them with your friends!

Any assets you receive from others are instantly playable in-game.

How To Use Your Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos Game Wallet

When you joined our game in Discord and started playing, a digital wallet for your assets was created automatically. This game wallet is powered by Solana and is custodial, meaning we hold its private key securely on our servers.

Eligible in-game assets and prizes you have earned may already be in your game wallet. In order to access those assets, you either need to claim your game wallet by installing it into your own wallet app, OR, you need to verify an external wallet in-game to enable withdrawals.

Claiming Your Game Wallet

What Is a Private Key?

A private key is a secret code used to install and unlock your digital wallet. Private keys are as valuable as keys to your house or your car; if you lose them or give them to someone else, your wallet’s assets will be compromised and could be lost.

We keep these keys secure for all of our players’ custodial wallets and only ever share them with their owners. However, you are ultimately responsible for keeping these keys safe! We recommend storing your private keys and other sensitive digital wallet information in multiple secure locations.

How Do I Access My Game Wallet?

To unlock access to your game wallet and its assets, you will first need a place to import your wallet. We recommend installing the Phantom browser extension.

1. Head to Phantom.app, then download and install the browser extension for the web browser of your choice.
2. If you have not already created a Phantom wallet, select Create a new wallet and follow the steps. We recommend watching this video by Alliestrasza on Phantom wallet setup and security for those who are new to crypto wallets.

Note: If you already have a wallet on the Phantom app, you can import an additional one! No need to install another extension or log out.

Next, you will need to retrieve your wallet’s private key from the game.

1. Open Discord and find the Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos server. From our channel list, select #play-here, press Play, and go to your playroom.
2. From your playroom, type “/private_key” and press Enter. You will see a message from our bot like the one shown below.


To reveal your private key, click the darkened block hiding the text.

3. Copy your private key. You will paste it in a moment to import your wallet.

Last, you will use your private key to import your wallet into the Phantom browser extension.

1. Open the Phantom browser extension and log in.
2. Open your account settings by clicking your profile icon in the top left.
3. Select your Account name to open your list of accounts, then select Add / Connect Wallet.

4. Select Import Private Key, and then paste the private key you revealed in the previous steps. Once you have chosen a name for your wallet, select Import to finish importing your wallet.

You should now be able to see your in-game assets and prizes in your imported game wallet! If you don’t see some of your in-game assets here:

• You may need to ascend them first
• They may not be eligible for trading on-chain

Sending Your Assets to Another Wallet

If you would like to send the assets from your Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos custodial wallet to another wallet, such as one of your own or a friend’s, you can follow these easy steps:

1. Find the address for the wallet to which you plan to send your assets.

This address can be found by opening the Phantom browser extension or app, selecting your Accounts dropdown, and then clicking the Copy button next to the desired wallet.

2. Next, you’ll select the asset you plan to send from your list of cryptocurrencies or NFTs. NFTs can be found in the tab next to your cryptocurrencies.
3. Hit Send, then paste the recipient’s wallet address. Make sure this address is correct because you cannot get it back! If applicable, type the amount of the asset you want to send, and then hit Next.

4. You will need to approve and sign the transaction using your digital wallet, which will cost a small amount of SOL in transaction fees. The transaction will not go through if you do not have any SOL in your wallet!

Once you see a confirmation of your transaction, your recipient wallet will receive the assets within minutes.

Adding Your Own Wallet to Alchemy

You may want to have full custody over your game assets instead of using the game wallet we provide you.

To add a compatible Solana wallet of your own to your game account:

1. Open the Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos Discord server and head to #play-here.
2. Press the Verify button.

3. You will see a private message containing instructions to send a small amount of SOL, the Solana token, to your custodial wallet’s address. Copy this address.
4. Open your wallet extension, such as Phantom, containing the Solana wallet you want to add.
5. Send a small amount of SOL (~0.01) to your custodial wallet’s address you copied in step 3. Once the SOL is received, your new wallet will automatically be verified.

Withdrawing Your Assets

Once you have verified a wallet of your own, you can easily withdraw your assets and prizes from your game wallet to your verified wallet! Simply use the /withdraw command from any channel you can type in, then follow the instructions in the prompt.

To check the balance of currencies in your game wallet, you can use the /balance command.

Ascending Your In-game Assets (Coming Soon!)

Your Descendants and other in-game items are optionally “ascend-able” to the Solana blockchain, meaning you can mint them from our server and own them as NFTs.

To ascend an in-game asset, such as a Descendant:

1. Head to your playroom from #play-here and select the Serai.

2. Select View Characters and choose the character you wish to ascend.

3. Select Ascend Character. The ascension process make take some time to complete.

Once fully ascended, you will receive a confirmation message from our bot, as well as links to view your new NFT on Magic Eden and OpenSea!

This NFT will automatically be held in whichever digital wallet is associated with your in-game account. See above for guides on how to access or replace this wallet.

Importing Received Assets

When you buy or receive an Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos asset such as a Descendant or item, it will become playable in-game within minutes!

You don’t have to do anything to import these assets. Simply ensure the wallet you are holding them in is verified (see guides above), wait a couple of minutes after receiving your new assets, then open the Serai to view them!
