Summary
All territories in Cosmic War have crystal cores at the hearts of their towers. Maintained by the Gods themselves, these crystal cores power the summoning of elemental armies.
To claim a new territory, a crystal core must be constructed from 100 Land Shards. Once transmuted, Land Shards become Core Shards and are eternally bound to the new territory.
Core Shards represent fragmented ownership of Cosmic War territories. Each Core Shard passively earns its owner 1/1000 (0.01%) of its matching territory’s SPIRIT rewards every week.
Core Shard ownership also unlocks voting power in the governance of a territory’s cosmetic qualities, such as it’s name and appearance.
Raffle Tickets
Land Shards can be won each week by players who purchase Land Shard Raffle Tickets from the Cosmic War store.
Before each drawing, players may purchase as many Raffle Tickets as they would like using $SPIRIT, Alchemy’s game token. Ticket purchases are non-refundable.
Drawings will take place in Discord once per week. Winners are selected randomly. The number of Land Shards raffled each week varies and will be announced at the beginning of each Raffle Ticket sale.
After each week’s drawing concludes, Land Shards are automatically transferred to the winners’ game wallets and all Raffle Tickets are destroyed.
Once the following week begins, the process resets and players may purchase new Raffle Tickets. Raffle Tickets from previous weeks do not carry over.
Land Shards
Land Shards represent fragments of crystal cores which have not yet become bound to a territory.
Players may obtain Land Shards by winning them in a raffle drawing, trading with other players, or purchasing them from a marketplace like Sniper and Magic Eden.
The total supply of Land Shards will depend on the total number of active territories in Cosmic War and may change over time.
Committing and Transmuting
At any time, players may commit their Land Shards to be transmuted into Core Shards, a process performed in the Cosmic War game menus. Players may commit their Land Shards to any new territory that has not yet reached a total of 100 Land Shards.
Once 100 Land Shards have been committed to a single territory, they fuse to form a complete crystal core and are automatically transmuted into Core Shards.
For each Land Shard a player committed, they will receive a Core Shard in their game wallet, which is eternally bound to its new territory.
Core Shards
Core Shards represent fragmented ownership of Cosmic War territories. Each territory’s crystal core is composed of 100 Core Shards, each of which are owned by players.
Core Shards are eternally bound to their territories but may still be traded and sold to other players. It is not currently possible to revert a Core Shard to its original Land Shard form.
Core Shard $SPIRIT Rewards
Each Core Shard passively earns its owner 1/1000 (0.1%) of its matching territory’s $SPIRIT rewards every week. The volume of a territory’s reward is dependent on its performance in each week’s battle.
Territory Governance
Owners of Core Shards will also unlock voting power in the governance of their respective territories. 1 Core Shard = 1 Vote.
Territory name, territory emoji, and tower appearance may all be modified by vote a maximum of once per month.
As long as territory names and images are not deemed inappropriate by Alchemy team members, Core Shard owners are encouraged to be creative. The Alchemy team will assist in the creation of all required art assets to ensure the territory’s appearance matches the style of Cosmic War.
